If Money were no object

If money were no object I would:

Hire a housecleaner

Get new carpet

Fix up the whole rundown house (Er--I mean pay to have someone else do it)

Go buy new clothes NOW

Travel but not too much

Buy my husband a new car

Be thin (I know they're not related but I just figure if I was rich I would also be thin)

Many other things too numerous to mention

What would you do?

  1. Write full-time and not have to worry
Buy whatever I wanted in the grocery store
Have a cook, butler, parlourmaid, driver etc
Have a huge manor house in the UK / castle in Scotland or maybe both?
Have stables in said mansion with handsome stable boys
    My own ship
    My own plane
    A Rolls
    Expensive jewelry
    Pretty clothes
Live in the Ritz or at Brown's Hotel or something
Buy myself a title! That wouldv'e been first on the list. Or marry someone with a title - viscountess or baroness - or perhaps a duchess?

  3. Have someone build me a handicapped accessible house for my daughter, and pay off my children's debts.

  4. Quit my job. Everything else is just frosting on the cake.

  5. I'd buy the hill behind my house and have it leveled so I could see the ocean everyday...

you see, I don't need much, just to alter the surface of the earth...

  6. Pretty much everything on your list except the thin bit although having all of those other things would give me more time to work out and that would be great. Oh and buy an iPad. :D

  7. Haha funny how we all have our own list. Thanks for reminding me about the ipad Hannah, I just added that to my list.

And Pat, to remove a hill to see the ocean? Totally worth it.

  8. Actually, eating healthy is expensive. I ditto your list and would add.

Pay the college loans off for my girls.
Insure my grand kids could go to private school.
Bask in the sun, moonlight and any other light or place I deem fun, exotic or different than the norm.
And never worry about the bills again.
